Tornatore – Valdemone rosato extra dry 750 ml


EXTRA DRY sparkling rose wine made from Nerello Mascalese grapes and vinified in white with the charmat method.
Fermented in stainless steel containers and afterwards in autoclaves for the second fermentation.

PRUNING SYSTEM: Cordon pruned and tied-up vine
YIELD PER HECTARE: 70 quintals
HARVEST PERIOD: 1th and 2th decade of September
WINEMAKING SYSTEM: Harvested manually, the grapes are placed in crates, arrived in the cellar are pressed in a vertical hydraulic press. The must obtained from the first press naturally decants at controlled temperature to maintain the natural aromas of the grapes and obtain a base wine rich in acidity and aromas. This is followed by the second fermentation obtained from the inoculation of selected yeasts in steel tanks at controlled temperature and pressure (autoclaves) – Charmat method – where the sparkling wine ages for four months in contact with the yeasts.
AGING: 3 months in bottle before sale.
COLOR AND TASTING NOTES: Soft, lively and bright pink. Delicate, fine and persistent perlage. Fragrant and harmonious on the nose, with pleasant delicate notes of bread crust, pink grapefruit, talc and hawthorn. Dry, rounded and savory taste. The bubbles offer a fresh and dynamic taste. Dry, round and savory on the palate with a pleasant crunchy fruit ending. Surprising drinkability.
